Capcom has showed off their offerings for this year’s Tokyo Game Show. The event, being held at the Makuhari Messe, is Japan’s biggest gaming expo and showcases many of the latest titles from both Japanese and western developers. Often, this will be an indication of what to expect in the west when titles are localised for the market.
Amongst those Capcom are showing off are Rockman 11 (Mega Man 11), Biohazard: RE 2 (Resident Evil 2 remake), Devil May Cry 5, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.
Capcom has indicated that all titles will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC, along with some releases also coming to Switch. The two titles coming to Switch are Rockman 11 (Mega Man 11), and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. With the Street Fighter game having already been released. As reported before, there is already a demo of the new Rockman 11 available on all Switch stores, so for frustrating platform fun, be sure to check it out.
We’ve known Resident Evil 2 was being remade and now we have a release date. We can expect to be diving back into Raccoon City on January 25th 2019, and this is swiftly followed by Devil May Cry 5 following in its wake on March 8th 2019.
The downside for us western fans unable to attend the event, is that Capcom are giving away an assortment of swag for each game.
We will continue coverage of the Toky Game Show as and when news hits.
