Nintendo has announced that the new online service will be launching today (Sep. 18). The service is due to be introduced around 5pm PT when the store will be taken down for three hours of maintenance.
A system update is expected to be rolled out following this that will change the Switch into a fully online-capable system.
The service will come with a free 7-day trial, and then users can expect to pay £17.99 for a year’s subscription, or £34 for a family sub.
A review of the service will be coming soon.
