Data-miner Reveals Possible Influx of SNES Games to Nintendo Online Service
Nintendo fans may be getting more than they can handle on the handheld-home console hybrid with the addition of Super Nintendo games data being present in the files for the Nintendo Switch Online service.
The service, which launched last September, has seen a steady update of additional titles added to the 21 it launched with, but it looks like there are plans to increase the selection to include some SNES classics.
As you can see from KapuccinoHeck tweet, the list is extensive and was uncovered by extracting the data from the online service and forcing the system to boot into another state.
It’s certainly an impressive list to begin with and almost mirrors what was released on the SNES Classic last year. Only time will tell if this comes to fruition, but really it’s not a case of if SNES games come to the Switch from Nintendo itself, it’s when.
